Meet Alex Silberberg

Alex has extensive experience working in restaurants across Los Angeles. He started working the front of house with traditional wine, receiving his sommelier certificate while working at The Stonehaus. He then transitioned to working with natural wine at Here's Looking At You & Dudley Market. Currently, he works as a private chef based in Malibu. He also pops up around LA with his concept "Oma's" — a modern Jewish Deli. He believes in making things in their purest form, using freshly milled ancient grains and natural fermentation in his pickling and sourdough baking. Alex draws inspiration from the environment around him, frequenting farmer's markets and his own garden for his ingredients.
